Morning run, at 6:45 from bridle path parking lot. Standard course here, to Webster Avenue and back around lake. Tired, but fun. 31:07.

Saturday, November 5, 2005

From Charles Place in Chester Heights. A pretty good run, around the lake and back. Strangely towards the end in Nature Study felt that my legs had somehow become separated from the rest of me. But a good pace, I think. 41:04.

Sunday, November 6, 2005

Marathon Sunday. OCA South. Down to Weir and back, without watch. Pretty relaxed.

Monday and Tuesday, November 7 and 8, 2005

Stomach bothered me, so took these days off.

Wednesday, November 9, 2005

Through the hills of Bronxville. A bit tired, but held it together, including going up hill at Midland.

Thursday, November 10, 2005

Ran to Bronxville Track and did 10 laps, but very tired, and stopped by Library.

Friday, November 11, 2005

Tired. Through Bronxville to Fleetwood.

Saturday, November 12, 2005

Day off, because of race tomorrow and trip up to Danbury.

Sunday, November 13, 2005

NYRR X-C Championships at Van Cortlandt. Through the first mile in 5:48, but pretty tired, and stopped at top of Freshman Hill. Started up again, but stopped before got into the backhills. I decide to shut it down, and focus on getting a good base during the winter, so no Mamaroneck Turkey Trot next week.

Monday, November 14, 2005

Easy, through Fleetwood through Bronxville. 34:09, distance of 4.95 miles (6:53/mile).

Tuesday, November 15, 2005

Taking it easy, via Elsmere ultimately to COncordia. A little tired towards the end, and some struggle to finish. 35:32. Seasonably warn.

Sunday, November 20, 2005

This was a wierd run. Afternoon, and meeting B in Bronxville. So headed to Parkway Oval, but what a struggle. Ankles very tight and feet made a lot of noise. But finished. No watch.

Thanksgiving: Thursday, November 24, 2005

With Steve S. Met him at stables. He ran there, I drove. We had a nice run out to Webster Avenue and back. It had rained overnight, so it was pretty sloppy. We skipped going around the lake and headed directly back to stable parking. He is not in great shape, although he seemed fine to me, in rehab after his biking accident.

Friday, November 25, 2005

COLD! Ground was frozen in spots and the rain had become ice here and there, so had to be careful. Standard run out from stables to Webster Avenue and back, around the lake. Pretty tired towards end, but felt OK. 33:33.

Saturday, November 26, 2005

Been having problems with roads recently, so decided to try to get it straightened out. Feet having been clodding and calves have been tightening. Little tired, but got to Scarsdale Road, and felt OK, if a bit tired.

Sunday, November 27, 2005

OCA South. Nice day. Started just south of entrance so went up to top and then down to the loop. Tricky footing because of leaves. Turned into a very nice run, although was dead at the very bottom. 38:40.

6:45 am. To Twin Lakes and to Nature Study. One deer in the way; he scattered. Felt slight twinge in left sciatic nerve when almost to the bridge on the way back, so stopped after that. No watch, but felt nice.
