I’m a fan of Slate’s Hang-Up-And-Listen sports podcast, and one of its regulars is NPR’s Mike Pesca. Here’s a piece from this morning. I’m not a big fan of college hoops, and do not find “March Madness” particularly interesting. My goddaughter, though, recently graduated from Cornell (which is the second best Ivy League school in New York that begins with “Co”), and here’s a nice piece that brings William Strunk of “Elements of Style” (a must-read for anyone who writes, to be used as a guideline and not as a rulebook) (the original, pre-E.B. White version is here) fame into the loop.
