This purports to be the oldest, continuous road race in Westchester. I did it in 2007 and 2008. (There’s four miler too.) It’s a fairly flat if slightly rolling course through Scarsdale neighborhoods, and there are a nice number of people in their yards cheering you on. There are 2 short but very steep uphills, at 2 and at 6.5. The race finishes on the track, with the finish-line on the back-straight; it’s about 350 meters on the track (which is new).
Not a big crowd in the race; I think more are in the 4-miler.
Course Map. The course is a bit long on this, but I wore my Garmin on it and it measured accurately there.
