I didn’t plan to run today because while my hamstring tendon felt fine when I got up I wanted to give it a couple of more days. But it was so nice out; mid-50s, sunny. So I threw caution to the wind, telling myself that I’d stop immediately if there was a problem.

As is typical of runs after a several day layoff, I ran faster than I should have, just being thrilled with the feeling of being able to run. And no problems with the leg. So a nice, fast 3.1 miler, including a romp up a short but steep hill. I just hope this injury is like countless others that fade into the distance with time.
